Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • 10-week commitment for 40 hours per week with availability to start June 9th 2025
  • Must be able to commute to the office to work at least 3 days onsite

Position Summary:

Are you ready to dive into the world of Corporate Law? Join us at Samsung SDS America as a Legal Intern to contribute to various Legal team projects, which will include knowledge management and organization, legal research, contract template update and management, and contract review support.

You will play a key role in helping us to achieve our primary goals for 2025 in improving our knowledge management. In addition to project support, you will be encouraged to share fresh perspective by helping the team identify areas for improvement. 

This role is based in our office in Ridgefield Park, NJ (hybrid).  This is a full- time internship role (up to 40 hours per week for 10 weeks) from June 9th through August 15th.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research
  • Assisting in contract review and risk assessment
  • Drafting contract templates
  • Contributing to various legal tea initiatives

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Law School
  •  Proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Time management skills
  • Interest in corporate law
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise outputs
