Position Overview:
We are looking for proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented interns to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program at Suzano’s Pine Bluff plant in Arkansas. As we optimize our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, we seek individuals who can bring fresh insights, support decision-making through data analysis, and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in S&OP and the potential for full-time opportunities post-program.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in demand and supply planning activities, ensuring alignment between production, inventory, and sales forecasts.
Support data analysis and reporting to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Production, and Commercial, to enhance S&OP processes.
Contribute to process improvements related to inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational planning.
Adapt to evolving business needs and support key initiatives in the S&OP department.
Key Requirements:
Educational Background:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college.
Preferred: Expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.
Must remain enrolled in the degree program after completing the internship.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts, demand planning, and inventory management.
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Interest in S&OP, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.
Key Attributes:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset, eager to learn and take initiative.
Duration & Location: The internship will last 12 weeks, beginning in the summer. The position is based in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
