CalRecycle is looking for a Research Data Analyst II who is self-motivated, creative, and customer focused to conduct qualitative and quantitative data research and analysis of the Beverage Container Recycling Program (Program). The Research Data Analyst II performs a variety of tasks including the more independent, responsible, varied and complex research and data analysis associated with Program to inform the Department about various payment programs it administers, develop legislative and regulatory reports, and provide the health of the Beverage Container Recycling Fund. The Research Data Analyst II will maintain and ensure consistent and accurate Program data, research a variety of topics and prepare reports, presentations, and findings. In addition, the Research Data Analyst II will analyze the activities of the Section to improve processes and will travel to participant sites. Research and analysis tasks may include travel for extended periods (4 to 5 days at a time) requiring overnight accommodations and weekend assignments, not to exceed 25 percent per year.
