Sales Intern

Summer 2025 Sales Internship (Remote)

As a sales intern, you’ll connect with potential clients by phone, presenting Summit Point’s value proposition to spark interest and enthusiasm for our services. Your primary goal will be scheduling virtual meetings/consultations to align Summit Point’s digital marketing solutions with customer needs, generating new business for the company while driving revenue for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply Summit Point’s sales processes.
  • Manage prospecting and pipelines through research and understanding of target customers and market trends.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls and emails to schedule meetings/consultations.
  • Lead consultations to uncover customer pain points and identify opportunities, leveraging key value propositions to close deals.
  • Utilize pricing and cost analysis to negotiate contracts, achieving a win-win outcome for Summit Point and our clients.

Compensation & Earning Potential

  • A rewarding, performance-based compensation model. On average, interns earn between $6,000–$12,000 during the summer ($2,500–$5,000/month), though this depends entirely on individual performance, drive, and determination. Top performers can exceed $6,000/month.
  • Incentives, including cash bonuses and perks like shoes or watches.
  • Commissions and bonuses are based on deals/contracts closed, with additional weekly and monthly incentives.
  • Bi-weekly compensation.

 

 

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, planning to return to school after the internship.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while being self-motivated and independent.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Experience with cold calling and prospecting is a plus, but not required—we’ll teach you!
