Product Marketing Intern

We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern who will play an integral role in helping the Product/Category Strategy Team by supporting our business in North America, across all product categories. Our PAID internship will be for a 12-week period. This internship will be based out of our Upper Saddle River, NJ office. This is a hybrid opportunity, and the intern is expected to be in the office on a weekly schedule (3 days/week).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct market surveys, and retail store audits, on product categories to gain knowledge of market and competitors
  • Research and analyze trends, hot products, new technologies, etc. in the category and report to management team
  • Complete competitive benchmarks highlighting top features utilizing Circana data and competitive sites.
  • Create surveys using Toluna survey system to conduct consumer research and determine key insights.
  • Provide administrative support for the team ensuring that deadlines are being met
  • Help to maintain the product roadmap tracker to highlight when products will be available in market.
  • Partner with other functional areas on content, visuals, collateral, user manuals for category
  • Database system work for item setup and sales analysis. 
  • Ability to process sales sample requests and ship samples as needed.
  • Completing ad-hoc projects

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing or related field
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Previous corporate internship experience a plus
  • Skilled in using Microsoft applications (particularly with Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with Google Suite applications
  • High level comfort navigating web searches
  • Strong research, forecasting and analysis skills 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to travel locally
