Summary
As a Safety Intern at Sparks, you will support our EH&S initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. You will work closely with EH&S Management to assist in implementing programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting workplace safety. This role provides hands-on experience in environmental and occupational health and safety practices within a dynamic organization committed to promoting a safe and sustainable workplace.
This position will support our Environmental Health & Safety team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EH&S programs.
- Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
- Support incident reporting, investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Help maintain safety and compliance documentation and records.
- Participate in training sessions and awareness campaigns.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at advancing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EH&S concerns.
Education & Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
