We're looking for a driven, dynamic Market Development Representative (MDR) Intern to identify, engage, and nurture prospects who can benefit from our industry-leading products and services. As the crucial first touchpoint, you'll use your sales acumen, strong communication skills, and proactive approach to cultivate leads, build meaningful relationships, and prepare prospects for successful conversations with our sales executives. Your efforts directly impact revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
Objectives of the Role:
- Clearly articulate Blue Mountain's value proposition to prospective customers using deep product knowledge and targeted market insights.
- Generate and nurture leads, proactively identifying new sales opportunities to fuel pipeline growth.
- Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, ensuring seamless transitions to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to support the development of targeted account plans, helping to set up productive sales meetings.
- Use CRM tools (Dynamics CRM) and ZoomInfo to gather data and assist in prioritizing and engaging high-value accounts.
- Help execute account-based and persona-specific campaigns through LinkedIn, email, content marketing, events, direct mail, and paid media channels.
- Assist in creating and distributing engaging content aimed at targeted personas, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Support the optimization of our technology stack for targeted outreach, automation, and measurement.
- Participate in analyzing and refining outreach campaigns to improve success and implement best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills across phone, email, social media (LinkedIn), and face-to-face interactions.
- Proficiency with sales and marketing technology, including CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce), marketing automation tools (HubSpot), and sales outreach software (Outreach).
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Intellectual curiosity, proactive attitude, and a continuous improvement mindset.
