Advocacy Internship
1N5's Advocacy Intern will help 1N5 promote mental health and suicide prevention through education and policy change. This intern will assist with outreach to local and state lawmakers, schedule and prepare for meetings, share information about 1N5’s impact, and help identify funding opportunities and advocacy partnerships. Additional responsibilities include researching mental health policy in other states, supporting grant writing efforts, and maintaining 1N5’s advocacy database. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, an interest in mental health and public policy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
