This is a great opportunity for a pre-med student in a GAP YEAR or someone interested in going into the medical field.

Position Hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30-5:30pm ( Last patient)

Must be able to get along with co-workers and have a great team attitude!

Duties

• Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
• Maintain and organize medical records within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive and precise documentation of patient encounters.
• Familiarize yourself with various medical office systems and protocols to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to improve documentation accuracy.

Requirements

• Proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy to ensure timely documentation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts related to patient care.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and staff.

Experience in medical office, hospital, podiatry or orthopedic setting is preferred.
Bilingual is a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
