Position Summary
This position will provide support to a variety of individuals in the results department. The intern will assist Social Media Marketers by learning to handle a portion of social media responsibilities for the brands we represent. Specific examples of the type of work involved include:
- Content Calendars - Write social media captions in line with the partner’s social media strategy in collaboration with a Graphic Designer
- Reputation management - Monitor reviews across a wide variety of platforms and respond accordingly.
- Audience Engagement- Help grow social media audiences by strategically following and engaging with target audience brands and/or people.
- Influencer List Building - Research and potentially participate in engaging influencers on behalf of our Tribe Partners.
- Creative Brainstorming - Assisting in brainstorms and bringing forth creative ideas with the Tribe.
- Post Scheduling - Help schedule approved posts into Loomly for other social channels.
- Meeting Prep - Help make sure relevant materials are printed and ready for partners.
- Preparing Creative Briefs - Help write creative briefs for the production of stellar artwork.
Learning Goals
- Achieve an understanding of how to write engaging social media captions that align with a brand’s voice and strategy, collaborating effectively with Graphic Designers for content development.
- Learn how to monitor and respond to reviews across various platforms, gaining insights into how to maintain and improve a brand's online reputation.
- Develop the ability to engage with and grow a social media audience by strategically interacting with target audience brands and individuals.
- Enhance collaboration skills by contributing creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and learning to work with a team to execute fresh and innovative strategies.
- Gain proficiency in using tools like Sprout Social to schedule posts, ensuring effective content management across various social media channels.
- Learn how to prepare relevant materials for meetings and presentations, ensuring smooth and productive partner interactions.
- Understand the process of writing creative briefs, providing a clear direction for high-quality content creation and ensuring consistency across all materials.
Qualifications
- You have excellent written and communication skills.
- Junior or senior preferred.
- You have a capacity for discretion and can maintain Tribu’s duty of confidentiality for our Tribe Partners.
- You are self-motivated and prefer a fast-working environment.
- You are technologically strong. You can learn new technologies quickly and are familiar with popular social platforms.
