CalRecycle is looking for a Research Data Specialist II who is self-motivated, creative, and customer focused to conduct qualitative and quantitative data research and analysis of the Beverage Container Recycling Program (Program). In addition, the incumbent will conduct economic and statistical studies involving the assessment of cost, supply, demand, utilization and trends of resources for recycling program planning, budgeting, and forecasting of the Beverage Container Recycling Fund’s (Fund) cash flow and expenditures. The incumbent will inform, consult and advise leadership on the health of the Fund and impacts of legislative and policy changes to ensure the sustainability of the Fund and Program.

Travel may include extended periods (4 to 5 days at a time) requiring overnight accommodations and weekend assignments, not to exceed 35 percent per year.
