Video Production Intern

About FEE Studios:

The FEE Studios department is FEE’s in-house creative content division, specializing in video and audio production. FEE Studios creates a diverse range of content, including short documentaries, explainers, podcasts, and shorts, strategically tailored to meet the needs of different viewer segments. This includes both highly accessible content to draw in wide audiences and more in-depth content for economic enthusiasts and those interested in deeper exploration of liberty-driven ideas. FEE Studios also publishes its content across multiple platforms, including YouTube and select social media channels. This multi-format approach allows for engagement at all levels, whether someone is new to free-market ideas or an already experienced advocate of liberty.

Video Production Intern - This role is in person, in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • On-Set Assistance (in person): Support the production team during filming and recording sessions by setting up cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Shadow senior team members during key production stages (e.g., directing, editing) to gain hands-on experience and learn industry best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering ideas and feedback to improve the quality and engagement of FEE Studios’ content.

Skills:

  • Film and Video Production, Digital Media or Multimedia Arts, Broadcasting or Broadcast Journalism, Communication Studies, Journalism, Economics, Political Science, or related majors desired, but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools.
  • Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset.
