Digital Marketing Intern

Looking for a college student or similar age with experience in managing social media campaigns and website update/development tasks. Position will be remote – working approximately 10-15 hours a week in an exciting technology start-up located in Richmond, VA.

Must have web development experience working with WordPress, as well as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and the desire to learn and build on their current experience.

Initial responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the development of social campaigns.
• Monitor and organize social media accounts.
• Schedule content & graphics across social media outlets.
• Development of the social media calendar.
• Manage updating of company website and landing pages.
• Site testing and quality assurance.
• Some search engine optimization.
• Manage & recommend technical updates.
