Ministry Internships

 

Revive Church is seeking passionate followers of Jesus who are intent on pursuing a vocation in ministry. The ones who fills this role will be committed to the vision of Revive Church to Passionately Pursue Jesus Christ. We love Jesus Christ and want to make Him known in our community and around the world. Revive is committed to reaching our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This individual will assist the staff of Revive with a focus on developing ministry skills, spiritual gifts, and supporting the mission and ministry of Revive.

 

The General Description

Aligned with the ministry philosophy of Revive Church, our Interns are responsible for supporting their supervisor, caring for volunteers, and participating in the facilitation of weekend services and/or weekday night ministry.

 

 The Qualifications

  1. Exhibit character traits in accordance with 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and Titus 1.
  2. Be in agreement with Revive Church’s philosophy of ministry and doctrinal position.
  3. Skills in collaboration and team leadership that promotes church vision and unity.
  4. Desire to encourage and expand the Kingdom of God in their ministry area.

 

The Expectations

  1. Available on weekends/weekdays to work alongside their ministry coach.
  2. Available on Tuesdays for Revive Staff Meetings. (9:30AM-11:30AM)
  3. Once a month Internship Cohort meeting (Tuesdays 8:30AM-9:30AM)
  4. Once a month 1:1 with their ministry coach.
  5. Reports to the Pastor of Family Discipleship.
  6. Works first and foremost for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.

 

The Responsibilities

  1. Provide support in their ministry area at Revive Church on Weekends.
  2. Assist in coordination and facilitation of their ministry at Revive.
  3. Responsibilities will depend upon ministry area. Potential ministry areas include: Kids, Students, Social Media, Pastoral, and Worship.

 

The Benefits

This is an hourly paid position. Compensation levels and all benefits are set by the Lead Pastor and the Executive Pastor on an individual basis. All compensation is to be held in complete confidence.
