Marketing Communications Specialist
LaSalle Network has partnered with a B2B manufacturing company in seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team. This Marketing Communications Specialist role focuses on general communications, including both internal and external messaging, content management, and corporate storytelling. The ideal Marketing Communications Specialist is highly organized, proactive, and eager to support communications efforts across multiple platforms while developing technical content and managing projects effectively.
Marketing Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and curate content for internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with global brand standards
- Maintain and update the company's intranet, ensuring accurate and engaging content
- Manage the development and distribution of biannual company newsletters, reducing from 12 to 6 issues per year
- Proofread and adjust website content received from international teams (Germany & Japan) for local audiences. Assist in social media strategy and execution
- Support visual content creation for internal and external communications. While graphic design expertise is not required, an openness to learning and growing in this area is expected
- Research and develop compelling customer success stories for publication at a global level
- Assist in planning and executing communications-related projects. While events are a shared responsibility across the team, they are not the primary focus of this role
- Work closely with various internal stakeholders and global teams to ensure clear, impactful communications
Marketing Communications Specialist Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications or a related field.
- Background in B2B manufacturing or a technical industry is preferred
- Strong content management skills with the ability to research, curate, and prepare content for various platforms
- Experience with internal communications, newsletters and social media management
- Comfortable working with AI writing tools for content development and refinement
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus, but the company is willing to invest in developing this skillset
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
