Albaugh, LLC in St. Joseph, Missouri, is looking for college students ready to explore a career in laboratory analysis to join our family for the summer of 2025 as a Laboratory Intern. Our paid internship program will provide you with a hands-on opportunity to work in a Chemical Processing laboratory.  You will be introduced to our company culture and work practices and learn how our departments function.

 

Position Overview

The Laboratory internship will include but is not limited to:

  • Gain insight into the laboratory, technical analysis, sampling, and testing of chemicals.
  • Sample and test materials for quality control and quality assurance.
  • Conduct chemical testing procedures while monitoring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Analyze statistical date to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Asst in laboratory technical analyses for chemical production
  • Support the laboratories in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results.
  • Follow all laboratory safety policies and standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in laboratory work and manufacturing processes
  • Conscientious and responsible demeanor
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
  • Hands on experience with laboratory equipment

The Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college degree program focusing on a Science related field
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic math.
