About the Position
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team at NIP Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide key financial insights and support strategic decision-making by analyzing trends, forecasting financial performance, and delivering actionable recommendations. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Financial Analyst will play a vital role in shaping the financial success of the organization.
What You’ll Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team, responsibilities include:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Partner with assigned business units to gather input for forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
• Develop dashboards and other tools to present data to executive leadership.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Act as a key liaison between FP&A and other departments, including underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT.
• Facilitate regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review financial performance, align goals, and address any issues.
• Communicate financial results and insights effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, tailoring messaging to the audience.
Business Partnering:
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and other key stakeholders to understand financial impacts of pricing, claims, and reinsurance strategies.
• Provide insights on product profitability, loss ratios, and expense trends to influence decision-making.
Process Improvements:
• Enhance existing financial models and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Automate data collection and reporting tasks through tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• No experience required.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
• Understanding of databases and/or data mining/query tools (Cognos Finance).
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
