Learning & Development Intern

Learning & Development Intern
RC Willey is looking for a Learning & Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in various L&D functions, including course design, training program development, employee engagement, onboarding, and administrative support, while contributing to projects that enhance workplace culture and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in design and creation of training content and organizing training materials within the Learning Management System (LMS), coordinating training sessions, and tracking employee progress.
  • Engage in the development and delivery of training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Help track and analyze the success of the company’s onboarding program, suggesting improvements for a smooth new-hire experience.
  • Provide general administrative support to the L&D department, handling a wide variety of tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Respond to a variety of learning and development-related inquiries from employees.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor's degree in instructional design, human resource management, or a related field. Junior or senior-level student preferred. 
  • Strong ability to engage others in conversation across various platforms (phone, in-person, and online), with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and professional with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal oversight, showing initiative and a strong work ethic in a self-directed role.


What will set you apart
The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience with Instructional Design tools and processes, but previous experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, Graphic Design tools, or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
