School-Based Intervention Specialist

TES partners with charter schools to provide high-quality educational services tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. The Intervention Specialist will work directly with students at our contracted schools in Cleveland, Ohio.

πŸ’° Β $22.50 - $32.80/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 Expectations:

  • provide small group and one-on-one instruction to students requiring support in the areas of reading, writing, math, and other areas as needed.
  • communicate on-going student progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals via progress reporting and Individual Education Plans.
  • be responsible for maintaining on-going compliance in accordance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid credential in Special Education and ODE License
  • Must clear a current background check through the BCI/FBI
  • A current TB Test (within the last 12 months)
  • Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
