Statewide Central Intake (SCI) Worker

This position will be responsible to receive, compose, edit and submit reports of allegations of abuse and neglect referrals for children by telephone for all counties on a statewide basis.

• The intake worker will receive reports of alleged child abuse and/or neglect. (40%);
• The intake worker will utilize appropriate judgment in the screening process per CYFD policy and procedure and worker professional standards. (20%);
• Demonstrate proficient telephone protocol. (20%);
• Gather all relevant information by the caller for appropriate screening determination. (20%).
