Administrative Assistant for Student Services
Duties would include:
- Preparation of Special Education Aide submission to NH DOE utilizing NHSEIS system including:
- Coordination of back-up documentation to support submission
- Working with in and out of district schools, transportation company and related service providers
- NHSEIS logs verification and dollar value calculation for line-item entries.
- Uploading essential documentation
- Maintain data accuracy in NHSEIS and provide procedural support to special education facilitators
- Development of contracts for contracted service providers,
- Creation of purchase orders and payment of invoices for special education expenditures utilizing BudgetSense software
- Collaboration and liaison with the transportation company for all special education transportation needs insuring NHSEIS validation requirements are met
- Monitor and report on monthly status of IDEA Grant
- Maintenance of electronic retrieval system (Docuware) for special education records as well as filing system to retrieve student records
- Creation of various databases to streamline special education activities,
- Assistance with maintaining compliance reports regarding special education process Indicators - utilizing NHSEIS
- Maintenance of day-to-day operations of the special education department including but not limited to records, data integrity in NHSEIS, problem solving through systems,
- Receipt and distribution of special education correspondence including court documents
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, remote meeting platforms such as Google meet, Zoom
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of the Special Education process
- Experience with NHSEIS - (New Hampshire Special Education Information System)
