Integrated Communications Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as an Integrated Communications Marketing Specialist. Reporting directly to the Institutional Advancement Manager and collaborating with the Executive Director, this person will serve as their trusted partner and "right hand," playing a key role in ensuring the communications, marketing strategies, and other day-to-day tasks are executed seamlessly. The position is 40 hours per week with some evening hours. 

 

Job Description

Collaborating effectively, managing time, and handling multiple projects while meeting deadlines are essential skills. Strategic thinking and a strong desire to learn new skills and approaches are also important.

 

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Reporting and communications strategy
  • Identify objectives, strategies, key messages, and tactics.
  • Social media strategy and execution
  • Refine and execute social media strategies. Develop compelling social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on website and social media pages.
  • Keep current with the latest digital technology trends.
  • Content Creation 
  • Produce engaging written and multimedia content, such as articles and social media posts.
  • Manage and maintain the organizational website and other digital platforms. 
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Catholic Charities programs. 
  • Develop and manage the production of newsletters, both print and digital.
  • Support all communications in fundraising activities.

 

Requirements and Skills

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skilled in planning and leading communication strategies.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics.
  • Experience with Constant Contact is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical experience in managing social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and various marketing channels.
  • Strong attention to detail, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
