International Sales & Business Development Intern – Boston Renal

Location: Remote (Occasional International Travel Opportunities)
Duration: Year-Long, Part-Time Internship
Commitment: 10-15 hours per week

Boston Renal is a healthcare startup transforming diabetes treatment and renal care. As we expand internationally, we are focused on establishing our presence in Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Central Asia through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated International Sales & Business Development Intern to support our global expansion in key international markets. This role is ideal for students passionate about healthcare, business development, and international markets, and could offer opportunities for international travel. The intern will work directly with the US-based leadership team and report to the Head of the MENA region located in the Middle East, receiving guidance and mentoring throughout the internship.

Key Responsibilities
International Sales & Business Development
• Identify and map potential clients, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare distributors in Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Central Asia.
• Client Outreach & Engagement:
• Make calls to target clients and reach out via social media channels to establish initial connections.
• Conduct research to identify the exact decision-makers within potential hospital partners.
• Initiate contact with key decision-makers through a combination of social media, emails and follow-up calls.
• Develop and maintain an updated list of leads and contacts.
• Participate in virtual and in-person meetings, trade shows, and networking events.
• Provide regular updates on lead generation progress, client outreach activities, and market insights.

Preferred Qualifications
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Biology, or Healthcare, preferably with a double major.
• Strong interest in sales, international sales, healthcare markets, and global business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international business environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus but not required.
