Current Marketig Campaign

Current Events is a marketing firm that believes that connectivity is a basic human right, and we're on a mission to bring it to everyone. We're seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join us as Community Organizers and be a part of this life-changing Marketing movement providing connection services to the community at large!

Current Events works to build community and expand horizons by engaging diverse audiences, supplying connectivity, and exposing students, the elderly, and the community to the power of connectivity. 

ROLE:

Each year we hire hundreds of people to work on our campaigns. Whether this is your first time working on a campaign, or if you are an experienced retail canvasser, we have a position for you.

Tech-Retail Canvasser

As a canvasser with Current Events, you’ll work in one of the dozens of cities across the country. You’ll go out into communities, manage pop-up events and in-person activations, and talk to people about the issues to raise awareness, educate community on technology, and raise awareness for the organizations and marketing campaigns we represent.

What's canvassing like?

Canvassing is challenging, but it’s something you get better at the more you do it. companies have been running canvassing campaigns for funding purposes for the past 100 years, so we’ll make sure you learn the skills you need to be successful. In addition, many of the issues that we work on are commonsense policies supported by a sizable majority of people. Canvassing is less a matter of changing someone’s views on an issue, and more of trying to get the people that are with us to support our work and get involved in the campaigns we’re working on in a meaningful way.
