Looking for an EXPERIENCED Small Animal Vet Tech for Surgery and Appointments - CVT preferred

**NOW OFFERRING A $500 SIGN ON BONUS**

We are privately owned.

Certified Cat Friendly but also see pocket pets and dogs.

FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS PACKAGE (Part Time CONSIDERED)

You must be a team player, possess good problem solving skills and be dependable and flexible with scheduling.

Compassion, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are required.

Duties Include:

Drawing Blood + Placing IV Catheters is essential

  • Administering + Monitoring Anesthesia
  • Drawing up and Administering Vaccines

Processing in-house lab samples

Animal Restraint and dealing with aggressive animals

Ability to take vitals and perform treatments

Check in/out clients, take medical history, document communications and process payments

Fill prescriptions and Administer medication via various routes

Assist in surgery and dentistry

Discharge patients and instruct clients on home care

Assist in cleaning the hospital

Help Answer phones and make appointments (Cross-training is required)
