Job Summary
Team Manager manages the organization’s implementation of the Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) model within the East Allegheny School District.
Primary responsibilities include providing team management, supervision, overseeing and monitoring program delivery of the PACS Site Managers and Resources Specialists ensuring timely and accurate service, data collection and maintaining school and community-based relationships.
Essential Duties
- Oversees the quality and success of all aspects of PACS FSCS model and service operations.
- Supervises the Site Managers and Resources Specialists assigned to the school district.
- Provides trauma-informed management and supervision, aligned with the vision and values of the organization.
- Visit school sites to observe, support, and evaluate implementation.
- Ensures proper and timely data collection and assists with the upkeep of the PACS data management system.
- Participates in collaborative leadership planning initiatives to ensure work aligns with school district and community goals.
- Stays apprised of effective practices and strategies used to engage and support students across the PACS network.
- Creates and maintains relationships with provider organizations through participation and support of the PACS Provide Council.
- Work with other Team Managers and PACS leadership to meet the organization's mission.
Team Management and Development:
- Instill a sense of accountability among program staff to meet individual and organization performance standards.
- Work with program staff to develop objective performance measurements to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting.
- Organize and facilitate ongoing program staff meetings.
- Collaborate with other Team Managers and Chief Program Officer to recruit, hire, and orient all program staff.
Leadership:
- Identifies strategic growth opportunities that exist with current and potential community providers.
Secondary Duties
- Participate in the organizational culture of trauma informed practices.
- Participate in required training and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated success in providing direct supervision to program staff.
- Demonstrated success in implementing, operationalizing, and evaluating programs.
- Strong project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth.
- Demonstrated proven experience in conflict management and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong commitment to social change through community empowerment.
- Experienced in understanding and diffusing sensitive situations with diverse populations using a balanced approach when handling situations on a case-by-case basis
- Experience working in a K-12 school environment is a plus.
Experience/Education Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a team management role in social services or a related field required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google computer applications.
- Demonstrated related experience may substitute for preferred education.
Working Conditions/ Physical Demands
- 12-month full-time position,
- Travel up to 30% to school sites and communities where work is being implemented.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must have a valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- This position works at the PACS administrative office, onsite in the school district and in the community.
- Must be willing to use personal cell phone when working remotely.
