DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our team and support the Programs & Research team. As a Summer Intern at Out Leadership, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of LGBTQ+ equality.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data on LGBTQ+ equality (surveys, literature reviews, interviews, etc.).
- Write newsletter updates and articles relating to LGBTQ+ talent development, leadership, and global advocacy.
- Develop curriculum programming for Out Leadership’s global business summits, in addition to our OutNEXT, OutWOMEN+, and OutQUORUM talent initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with Out Leadership’s member firms and nonprofit partner organizations through research and programming collaborations, as well as advise on the business imperative for LGBTQ+ equality.
- Participate in Out Leadership’s in-person and virtual events and business summits.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field.
- Strong interest in LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion in the workplace.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
