DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our team and support the Programs & Research team. As a Summer Intern at Out Leadership, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of LGBTQ+ equality.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data on LGBTQ+ equality (surveys, literature reviews, interviews, etc.).
  • Write newsletter updates and articles relating to LGBTQ+ talent development, leadership, and global advocacy.
  • Develop curriculum programming for Out Leadership’s global business summits, in addition to our OutNEXT, OutWOMEN+, and OutQUORUM talent initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Out Leadership’s member firms and nonprofit partner organizations through research and programming collaborations, as well as advise on the business imperative for LGBTQ+ equality.
  • Participate in Out Leadership’s in-person and virtual events and business summits.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field.
  • Strong interest in LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
