Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Preprocessing: Work with large datasets from manufacturing operations, clean and preprocess data for AI model development.
  • Model Development & Testing: Assist in the development and testing of machine learning models to optimize manufacturing processes (e.g., predictive maintenance, quality control, demand forecasting).
  • Automation & Optimization: Collaborate on automating tasks and optimizing workflows using AI, improving the efficiency and scalability of operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply AI and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and insights that can lead to cost savings, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, production managers, data scientists) to integrate AI models into manufacturing systems.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular updates and presentations on project progress, challenges, and solutions for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, classification).
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
    • Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
    • Basic understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial engineering is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
