High Ropes Program Director

Summer camps and conference centers are seeking skilled, professional, and passionate High Ropes Program Directors to join their teams for the upcoming summer season. High Ropes Program Directors will be responsible for the planning, execution, and safety oversight of high ropes and challenge course programs, ensuring campers and staff have a transformative, faith-filled, and exciting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development: Plan, develop, and implement a high ropes program that offers diverse, age-appropriate challenges and activities that connect back to Christ. 

Safety Oversight: Enforce all safety protocols, ensuring that campers and staff adhere to safety rules during high ropes and challenge course activities.

Staff Training: Recruit, train, and supervise high ropes staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead activities and maintain safety standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and storage of high ropes equipment, ensuring that all gear is in good working condition. Coordinate with Program Director to schedule and perform regular maintenance tests and equipment checks. 

Risk Management: Perform risk assessments, create emergency response plans, and respond to any safety-related incidents.

Camper Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging campers to challenge themselves, overcome obstacles, and build self-confidence while connecting activities to faith-based programming.

Progress Tracking: Monitor camper progress and provide feedback on individual and group achievements.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with camp staff and supervisors to ensure high ropes activities align with the camp's mission, values, and schedules.
