This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student interested in gaining hands-on experience in business administration and executive support. The Business Administration Intern will play a key role in supporting Good Call Technologies (GCT) operations, assisting with critical administrative tasks, and helping the team stay organized and effective in their mission to disrupt the cycle of mass incarceration.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn about justice tech and nonprofit operations in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Since 2016 we’ve built technology uniquely designed to empower marginalized communities by streamlining early access to legal support during the arrest process. We’re now ready to share that same secure and reliable technology across other industries. By implementing technology at crucial points of an arrest, we’ve successfully modernized an outdated system. Our products are designed to not only empower marginalized communities, but reshape and disentangle antiquated telecom systems for legal service providers and hotline operators across the varying industries. Our impact is aiding communities obtain early access to legal support.
MISSION:
Good Call Technologies is a Black-led tech-company. Our mission is to empower marginalized communities and create systemic transformation by developing technology designed to provide effective and immediate access to legal support. By introducing our technology into the arrest process, we’re able to broadly impact areas of society that are deprived of adequate resources necessary to protect themselves against bias and unjust charges.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Draft, review, and organize professional documents, including proposals and scopes of work.
Manage and respond to emails on behalf of leadership, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Support scheduling and calendar management for team members and leadership.
Assist with the preparation of internal and external reports or presentations as needed.
Provide general administrative support, similar to an executive assistant, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain organized and accessible digital records of important documents and communications.
A STRONG CANDIDATE WILL HAVE SOME COMBINATION OF:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to task management and problem-solving.
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively in a small, non-traditional (often virtual) office setting where collaboration and communication are essential.
A strong interest in nonprofit work, community advocacy, or social justice.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A desire to contribute to a mission-driven organization disrupting the cycle of mass incarceration.
