Position Overview

The Dive Coach is responsible for the leadership of the Gators Summer Dive Team at the Jefferson Country Club. Duties include:

  • Planning practice and workouts
  • Communicating with parents and athletes
  • Educating athletes about the sport of diving, and about athletics
  • Providing leadership and support on deck during diving meets
  • Drafting lineups and dives for competition

Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings. Meets are Tuesday afternoons. The season runs 5/27 to mid-July.

Private Coaching option, pay $32 per hour

Drug test & background check are prerequisite for this position.

 

About Hydra Aquatics

Hydra was born during the pandemic as a not-for-profit competitive USA sanctioned swim team in central Ohio. Our goal is to empower young people to be champions in and out of the water. What started as a swim team soon grew to include a swim lessons program specifically designed to develop the hard-working mentality and skills needed to join Hydra’s swim team, and succeed in life outside the pool.
