Youth Care Worker (Recreation Leader, Chalk Talk Leader, Enrichment Leader and Group Counselor)

Youth Care Workers at LiFEsports are responsible for the supervision of youth throughout the LiFEsports summer camps. If you are interested in any of the following camp responsibilities – Recreation Leader, Chalk Talk Leader, Enrichment Leader, or Group Counselor, please apply for the most appropriate 'Youth Care Worker requisition."

• Recreation Leader (Sport Coach) - Facilitates sport instruction to campers based on evidence-based curricula by following the LiFEsports curriculum designed to foster social competence (Campus-Based, Dublin City School-Based, and Community-Based)
• Chalk Talk Leader - Facilitates social competency topics through classroom and play-based activities as outlined by Chalk Talk curriculum (Campus-Based, Dublin City School-Based, and Community-Based)
• Group Counselor - Supervises and mentors a group of LiFEsports campers for the entire duration of camp, and transporting campers to activities where you will assist the Recreation leaders and Chalk Talk leaders during program activities. This includes ensuring safety of youth as they engage and supporting group cohesion as well as providing behavioral supports for youth when necessary (Campus-Based, Dublin City School-Based, and Community-Based)
• Enrichment Leader - Facilitates and engages youth in hands-on science activities to help campers explore and understand important concepts in science and develops campers’ curiosity to learn something new and fun and explore their creativity and imagination (Community-Based only)
