The Port Clinton City School District is a district of approximately 1400 students located on the shores of Lake Erie. Thanks to the support of the community, Port Clinton is a financially stable district and opened new school buildings in 2012-13. The district consists of Bataan Primary Elementary (PK-2), a new addition to Bataan Memorial Intermediate Elementary (3-5) which was completely renovated and opened in 2013. A new Middle School opened in October 2012 and Port Clinton High School has a new state of the art media center and has newly renovated classrooms with the latest technology. Our school district was named a Best Communities for Music Education by NAMM for six years in a row from 2019 to present! Port Clinton Middle School has been recognized as one of the top schools in the nation: Model School and 2019 State & National School to Watch!
