Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician at Family First Center for Autism, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children and adolescents. This position is essential in supporting our mission of fostering individual growth and development while ensuring that each child's specific needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to children in various settings, including home and community environments.
• Monitor and document client progress towards goals as outlined in their care plans.
• Assist in the development of social skills and communication through engaging activities.
• Collaborate with families to provide support and education regarding behavioral strategies.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and practices.
• Ability to implement treatment plans effectively under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with special needs.
