Full time Position or Internship– Management, Hospitality & Event Planning

Availability: Spring, Summer or Fall Internship with opportunities for hours outside the internship date range. Flexible start date. 

This unique position offers a well-rounded opportunity to work in various departments, primarily with the food & beverage operation & event management. Additionally, this role includes an exciting opportunity to help develop and promote a new wedding event business at Mid Vallee Golf Course! 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Kitchen Duties (Part of Internship Role) 

  • Prepare and cook short-order meals
  • Cooridinate banquets & events.
  • No experience necessary – training provided!

Event Planning & Wedding Coordination (New Business Initiative) 

  • Assist in developing, promoting, and planning weddings and special events.
  • Help establish marketing strategies, pricing structures, and vendor relationships.
  • Work on logistics for hosting weddings in our newly expanded event space, which includes a covered patio and upgraded banquet area.

Internship Experience (Varied Based on your Interests) 

  • Clubhouse Management & Golf Operations: Customer service, event coordination, tee-sheet management.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff in mulitiple departments, coordinate staff schedules, new hire training, etc.
  • Admin: Social media, marketing, payroll, scheduling, invoicing.
