
English Language Coordinator
The Ellsworth Community School District is hiring an English Language Coordinator.
The EL coordinator serves as a specialist for students who are learning English as a second language.
The EL coordinator assists general education classroom teachers with appropriate curricula and the development of appropriate strategies to meet the unique needs of English Learners.
.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer/Proctor ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 English language proficiency assessment for all EL students in the district in grades K–12.
- Provides EL data for state reporting.
- In collaboration with the EL Teacher prepares an Individualized Student Record Plan (ISRP) for ELL Students - Annually review, revise/and or write new plans.
- Attends EL Coordinator Meetings at CESA #11
- In collaboration with the School Social Worker and EL teacher provides parent, family and community engagement activities for EL students and their families.
- Supports classroom teachers in evidence-based instructional strategies which support language learning in core content classes.
- Remain current on the State of Wisconsin state statutes regarding services to educate English Learners.
- Supports the enrollment process of EL students in the district.

Applicants should hold or be able to obtain WI DPI licensure EC-A English as a Second Language (395).
This is a 20 hour per week position with flexible hours. Compensation is $30.96/hour.
