CHMK is the first and oldest camp for kids with Type 1 Diabetes in the world! Our diverse programming includes paddle-boarding, kayaking, high ropes, archery, axe throwing and much more!

Join us for our 96th season of changing lives, overseeing a team of Lifeguards at our lake and pool.

Dates: 

Short Season: June 2nd - July 18th

Long Season: May 12th - August 1st

This position’s primary focus is oversight of Aquatic activities. Read on for more details!

Requirements:

  • Aged 18+
  • First Aid/CPR, Lifeguard certified for duration of employment

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and leading a team of Lifeguards to maintain safety standards and promote a positive culture.
  • Creating and distributing Lifeguarding schedules in alignment with the all-camp schedule.
  • Coordinating and scheduling Lifeguard time off in collaboration with the Manager of Camper Experience.
  • Conducting regular testing and monitoring of pool chemicals to ensure water quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with our Facilities Manager to ensure proper pool operation and maintenance.
  • Providing oversight for lifeguards stationed at both a lake and a pool.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $400.00 per week
