                                                 Bay-Delta Manager (Sacramento Office)

$156,312 - $190,216 Annually

This position is located in the Kern County Water Agency's (Agency) Sacramento office. This position will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating science, regulatory and watershed-wide activities related to the Agency's interests in the Bay-Delta and/or associated with the State Water Project. This position will also represent the Agency on various committees and participate with representatives of other federal, State and local agencies in meetings and in processes that affect the Agency’s interests in the Bay-Delta and/or associated with the State Water Project.

All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, environmental science, business or related field with applicable coursework. All applicants are also required to have seven (7) years of experience of increasingly responsible experience in engineering, business or planning-related field, including three (3) years in water supply planning, operations and/or environmental regulations relating to the Bay-Delta or similar environments; three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
