Join Small Vines Wines for Harvest 2025 – Cellar Hands Wanted!
Small Vines Wines, a family-owned estate winery and custom crush facility in the Sonoma Coast AVA near Sebastopol, CA, is looking for dedicated cellar hands to join our team for the 2025 harvest. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of winemaking, including fermentation management, pressing, and bottling.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 4, 2025
- Duration: ~3 months (seasonal)
- Production Scale: ~200 tons total, with small-batch fermentations (2-3 tons per lot)
About Us:
At Small Vines Wines, we craft estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our high-density, organically and sustainably farmed vineyards. Our philosophy is simple: create quality in the vineyard and preserve it in the cellar—without unnecessary intervention. In addition to our estate wines, we produce an intentional rosé and Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wine.
Through our custom crush program, we work with a diverse range of varieties beyond Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Gamay, Sauvignon Blanc, Italian varieties, and even Picpoul and Dornfelder! Sourced primarily from Sonoma County, with select lots from Napa, Mendocino, and Monterey, all wines are crafted with a low-input, minimal-intervention approach. Many are native fermented, unfiltered, and built for aging.
