Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Must pass background check, drug test and pre-employment physical. Experience with children preferred.

Availability: MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY ALL 8 WEEKS! Consistent shift between 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. or 8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. starting June 9th through August 8th (closed week of June 30th). Training can begin any time in Spring 2025. School year employment also available in our ‘25-‘26 Before and After School program but is not required.

Job Responsibilities: Supervising children entering 1st through 6th grade in camp locations at the City of Kent’s Rec Center or Davey Elementary. Completing lesson plans, managing a group of up to 18 children, supervising children on field trips, adapting to the behavioral and educational needs of children, handling conflict management within children, interacting with parents and school faculty, attending monthly staff meetings and child development trainings, etc.

Hourly Pay Rate: $12.00-$15.00/hr. + Sick Time (Pay Rate based on Education & Experience)
