R&D Intern

POSITION SUMMARY 

Our internships are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the department you’re placed in, as well as an overview of every department’s contribution to our business. The R&D Intern will perform routine, entry-level research and development tasks with the goal of developing more advanced applied analytical and technical skills. This internship will begin in the summer of 2025.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Collaborate with R&D team members to conduct experiments, analyze data, and document findings.
  • Assists in the development and testing of new products, materials, or processes.
  • Supports the maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment, materials, and documentation.
  • Coordinates with various departments to gather data and insights to support R&D initiatives.
  • Assists in compiling technical reports and presentations based on research findings.
  • Maintains project timelines and ensures accurate record-keeping of research activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Current college junior/senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in (area of focus) 
  • Must have at least a 2.8 GPA (3.0 or 3.2+ preferred) 
  • Must be involved in at least 1 extra-curricular activity or volunteer activity, (e.g. scholastic orgs., IM athletics, Greek life, external non-profit volunteering, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to analyze data and decipher information
