Advisor for LEA and School Support

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Programs and Educational Support or designee, and responsive to school district and county office educators, the Advisor for LEA and School Support is responsible for providing  technical assistance to LEAs and schools in planning, implementing, and monitoring their continuous improvement plans (i.e. LCAPs, SPSAs, etc.) in the form of workshops, leadership coaching and consultation, customized contracted services, and facilitation of county-wide networks. The Advisor stays current with State and Federal accountability requirements.  The Advisor conducts program evaluation, initiates new services and programs when appropriate, facilitates communication among LEA administrators, and contributes to and benefits from local, regional and statewide efforts to improve student academic achievement.
