Business Development Sales Representative

The Business Development Sales Representative will sell flatbread products to the following channels grocery, wholesale, foodservice, distributors, by performing the following duties:

Essential Responsibilities

•          Responsible for generating opportunities by researching potential accounts, utilizing resources within distributor network, performing weekly live demonstrations of flatbread products

•          Maintaining a sales call balance of new business opportunities along with current business retention and penetration

•          Responsible for maintaining, developing and growing business within a large and diverse customer base by understanding and managing volume requirements for flatbread products

•          Maintaining a consistent touch point cycle within assigned geography along with daily account of activities and progress for every call

•          Managing new customer and distribution needs

•          Interface with cross-functional employees including Production Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales and Marketing.

•          Responsible for representing our flatbread portfolio at Food & Trade Shows and distributor sales and training meetings

•          Responsible for traveling to and from client sites

•          Other duties as assigned.

Reporting: Reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

•          Excellent planning and organization skills, leadership, problem solving and decision making skills.

•          Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing with vendors, customers and co-workers.

•          Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

•          Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge

•          Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills.

•          Sales personality that demonstrates patience and persistence for the sales process.

•          Ability to manage a large geographical area may be required

•          Can sell concepts as well as solutions
