HR Director
Position Description/Purpose
The HR Director will lead and manage all human resources functions for an organization of approximately 115 employees. This strategic role is responsible for developing and executing HR initiatives aligned with business goals, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and regulatory compliance. The HR Director will collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership to provide thought partnership, drive HR effectiveness, and support a positive organizational culture. Additionally, the HR Director will partner with managers to ensure that HR practices foster organizational growth and employee engagement. The successful candidate will have a servant leadership mindset, cultural humility and willingness to manage day-to-day tasks.

Key functions of the role:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development:
- Align HR strategies with the organization's goals.
- Advise senior leadership on HR matters and contribute to strategic planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture and drive employee engagement and retention.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract diverse talent and enhance retention strategies.
- Oversee onboarding and succession planning.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Address employee concerns, manage disciplinary actions, and conduct exit interviews.
- Lead employee recognition programs and engagement surveys.
Performance Management & Professional Development:
- Oversee performance management programs and coach managers.
- Encourage continuous feedback and professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and salary structures.
Training & Development:
- Design employee development programs and identify training needs.
- Promote learning across the organization.
Compliance & Legal Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage HR audits.
- Oversee employee leave programs and maintain required records.
HRIS System Administration:
- Administer and optimize the HRIS system for accurate data and smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues and maintain updated HR resources.
HR Metrics & Reporting:
- Track key HR metrics to guide decision-making and process improvements.
- Present HR performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and performance management.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies to meet business needs.
- Must have demonstrated commitment to providing equal opportunities in a leadership role.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

- Computer proficiency (including O365 - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & ADP preferred)
- Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Office environment, hybrid model.
- Occasional travel will be required for company events or employee engagement activities.
