Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support our team in investing in lifesaving medicines. You will help sustain the team and orchestrate things so that we get where we need to go, see who we need to see, and have what we need to do our best work. The bullet points below broadly illustrates the scope of your duties in order of importance. The more functions with which you are familiar, the better; but even if you’re an expert in just one key area, don’t hesitate to apply. Your pride in your work, attention to detail, and ability to creatively solve problems will be what truly matters at SymBiosis.

  • Scheduling & Travel: Clear communicator with colleagues, prospective investees, and clients. Flexible enough to manage rapidly shifting calendars. Organized and detail-oriented in booking and managing sometimes complex travel. Responsive—even outside normal work hours when necessary—to travel delays and challenges.
  • Reception & Office Management: Takes ownership of making sure visitors feel welcome and comfortable. Attentive to the needs of the team in making sure our office is well stocked, and that third party services providers—such as maintenance and cleaning services—deliver quality service.
  • Event Planning & Management: Perceptive about the purpose of events, proactive at building relationships with local vendors—such as venues, caterers, and hotels—and precise about execution so that events (e.g., learning lunches, happy hours, company retreats, and holiday parties) always put SymBiosis’ best foot forward.
  • Document Processing & Light Data Entry: Proficient with commonly used productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign. Fast and accurate with respect to light data entry (e.g., expense reports).
  • Onboarding: Open to learning basic HR processes required to onboard and orient new employees.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover email to talent@symbiosis.vc.
