Marketing Specialist Intern
A Merger & Acquisition firm is looking for an intern as Marketing Specialist, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote M&A advisory services to potential clients, including creating compelling content, managing digital channels, collaborating with sales teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while highlighting the investment firm's brand and positioning within the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop marketing materials like brochures, website content, email campaigns, social media posts, presentations, and white papers that clearly articulate investment strategies and benefits to target audiences.
Market Research:
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, competitor insights, and potential customer segments to inform marketing strategies.
Digital Marketing Management:
Oversee the company's digital presence across websites, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns, optimizing for lead generation and engagement.
Sales Enablement:
Collaborate with sales teams to provide them with marketing materials, pitch decks, and training to effectively present investment products to clients.
Campaign Development and Execution:
Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns across various channels including online advertising, webinars, events, and public relations.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing materials, aligning with the company's overall image.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze marketing campaign data to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance Management:
Adhere to all regulatory requirements related to financial marketing, including disclosure and accuracy standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial services marketing, ideally within the investment industry
- Strong understanding of investment products and concepts (mutual funds, ETFs, portfolio management)
- Excellent writing and editing skills for content creation
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media management tools)
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities to measure marketing campaign effectiveness
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and compliance
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information in a clear and engaging manner
