Warehouse Associate Back Up Driver

We have a great opportunity to join our Warehouse Team at our Sioux Falls, SD branch as a Warehouse Associate Back Up Driver.  This is an on-site position that will provide quotes, sales and service, and will work with internal and external customers to ensure company goals are met and long-term positive customer relationships are cultivated.

Responsibilities Include: 
•    Pick, fill, and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and transfers
•    Load and unload materials and trucks
•    Safely utilize power equipment including mechanical lift or vehicles when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves
•    Keep the warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials. such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
•    Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes
•    Receive and process incoming stock and materials
•    Deliver products to customers in the absence of FT driver
•    Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse
 

Qualifications

Education
•    High School Diploma or GED
Experience and/or Training 
•    1 year working in a team environment
•    Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
•    Ability to work safely and accurately
•    Ability to safely and effectively operate powered equipment such as forklift and stock chaser
•    Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills
•    2+ years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, and pulling orders preferred
•    1 year warehouse experience including working with an RF Scanner, a forklift, and wire cutting preferred
Licenses/Certificates 
•    Valid US Driver’s license
•    Clean driving record
•    Pass the DOT physical
