Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and person to help improve the efficiency of our internal business data processes. Our company works with various data sources, some of which require integration, cleaning, and preparation before analysis. In this role, you will help design and implement a reporting infrastructure that is easy to use, error-proof, and largely automated.
This is a great opportunity for a student with a data analysis and business analytics background who is eager to work on real-world business problems. You will play a critical role in setting up a data preparation process that automates data cleaning, mapping, and operations, ensuring more efficient decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with multiple internal data sources to structure, clean, and integrate data for analysis.
- Develop automated processes to handle data preparation and reduce manual efforts.
- Write SQL queries and/or use programming skills (Python, R, etc.) to manage and process data.
- Collaborate with teams in demand planning, finance, pricing, logistics, and IT to understand business needs and ensure data consistency.
- Support the creation of dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Regularly report progress to management, providing updates on data integration, automation, and insights.
Qualifications
- Major in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Prior internship/corporate experience
- Experience with SQL and data querying; programming skills (Python, R, or similar) are a plus.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or other operational tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, database design, and business intelligence.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and visualization tools.
- Experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role.
- Experience with operational processes, workflows, or supply chain management is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
