Middle School Health & Physical Education

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:    

• Willing to coach varsity athletes
• Valid Ohio Physical Education Teaching License 
• Ability to develop instructional strategies and activities to implement adopted Course of Study
• Ambitious, high–energy person
• Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
• Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
• Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a physical education instructor
• Experience in working with special needs students
• Experience with assertive discipline
• A desire to affect change in the lives of children
