About the position
Shop the Mint is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Strategist to grow social media channels and drive sales. (S)he will be responsible for daily oversight of the company's social media accounts and is responsible for monitoring trends. (S)he will translate data into clear strategies to inform decision-making across the team to ensure content and campaigns drive engagement, community building, and sales growth.
Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Strategist responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Monitor social media marketing trends and adapt strategies to leverage viral moments or relevant hashtags in order to optimize content and campaigns
- Track website traffic, social media metrics, and sales to evaluate success.
- Oversees influencer marketing strategies
- Use tools like GA4 (formerly Google Analytics), Meta Business Suite, and other platforms to track and analyze social media metrics, sales, and campaign performance.
- Present performance reports with actionable recommendations to the social media team to help increase overall performance.
- Engage with followers to build community and drive loyalty
- Reports to the Creative Manager

In addition to passion, excellence and a do-what-it-takes attitude, we also have some specific qualifications that we are looking for in our Digital Marketing Strategist:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent years of practical relevant experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Marketing Strategy
- Must be versed in current social media platforms and trends and have a track record of successful social media management in a similar role
- Must be able to quickly adapt to new social media and related platforms as trends shift
- Familiarity with the fashion or retail industry
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to respond to inquiries with little or no oversight
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), GA4 (previously Google Analytics), Meta Business Suite
- Strong ability to analyze data and understanding of KPI's, traffic metrics and SEO as it relates to social media efforts
